Our Verdict
Backing up a large trailer or RV can be a nerve-wracking experience, but the 5G WiFi Magnetic Wireless Hitch Rear View Camera aims to simplify the process. I tested this unit across several trips to see if its magnetic mounting and smartphone-based interface could truly replace professional wired systems.
Performance & Build Quality
The device feels surprisingly robust, with a strong magnetic base that secures firmly to metal surfaces even when traversing bumpy terrain. Its weather-resistant housing and clear night vision capabilities suggest it is built to handle the rigors of outdoor environments and low-light towing conditions.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setup is remarkably straightforward, as the magnetic mount eliminates the need for drills or complex wiring. The 5G WiFi connection to my phone was stable during testing, providing a lag-free feed that makes hitching a trailer a one-person job.
This is an excellent tool for solo travelers, RV enthusiasts, and truck owners who want an affordable, portable visibility solution for frequent towing.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this camera delivers exactly what it promises, earning a solid 4.79/5 rating. Considering the $99.00 price point, it provides peace of mind and convenience that is well worth the investment for any regular hauler.
