Our Verdict
I recently took the 60cm Anti Bite Wire Crab Cage out for a series of coastal tests to see how it performs compared to standard mesh traps. This professional fishing tool is designed to solve the common issue of crabs chewing through netting or escaping during the retrieval process.
Performance & Build Quality
The construction is immediately impressive, featuring high-strength anti-bite wire that resists even the strongest pinchers. Its 60cm diameter provides a wide footprint that remains remarkably stable, while the elastic shrinkage mechanism ensures the trap shuts tightly upon retrieval.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting up the cage is straightforward, and it collapses down easily for transport, which is a major convenience for shore fishing. During my time using it, the mechanism triggered flawlessly every time, proving that it is both reliable and intuitive to operate.
This cage is perfect for dedicated anglers who are tired of losing their catch to damaged nets and want a durable, long-lasting solution.
Final Thoughts
The Anti Bite Wire Crab Cage is a fantastic piece of equipment that genuinely improves the fishing experience. With a perfect 5/5 rating and a competitive $49.00 price point, it is an easy recommendation for anyone serious about their crab harvest.
